i have a audi a6 quattro. There is a water leak and it looks like its coming...

...from behind the main crank pulley? .I pulled the metal hose piece thats used as a splitter in the front (the one that goes behind the front engine mount) thinking it might be split but it was fine.I have no idea where the water pump is to know if it might be whats leaking or if anyone has any other ideas, thanks.
