...my own music? bluetooth is available i just dont understand how to get it started what do i need to do
 
You need to find a compatible bluetooth device to pair with your phone. The phone manual and bluetooth device manual should tell you how to pair them. Unless your phone has a memory card or super mega internal memory space, you won't be able to get music files. I also don't thing boost mobile allows ringtones from outside vendors as well.
