How does someone get this out? The angles are difficult and now I can not see the flash light. Would a duct cleaning company be able to get it out? Is the Dewalt battery toxic after years if it remains in the duct?
I have tried the vacuum, but the angle of the two bend is not allowing it to pick it up. The flash light is plastic and has a heavy 18 V battery attached.

Now I can not see the flash light to even try the vacuum again.

Perhaps you could lower the flexible part of a vacuum cleaner hose down the vent and turn on the vacuum cleaner.

If you cant get at it with a coat hanger, vacuum, magnet, or whatever. Just leave it.
