I have a motorola RAZR V3m need help with mp3 player.?

My RAZR is threw US Cellular, I want to put mp3's on my phone, i can get as far as transfering them, the folder on the pc says i have them but in the cell phone i might get 3 of the 20 i put in. Is there a diffrent folder i have to use to get them all? My book does not tell you how to do it help?
