My mouth is really swollen and it's been filling up with blood every time I do a lot of talking, so I won't be able to speak as clearly as I might if I was normal. But I don't want the interviewer to think I'm irresponsible for not rescheduling our interview (I had the surgery on Wednesday and didn't know that I would still be in pain and swollen on Friday!).
