not listed on the internet or? Does anyone want an awesome 4 yr old saint bernard just about the friendliest dog in the world, neutered, papered, loves kids cats, pets other dogs, he needs some vet work we cant afford about $1000 for a growth on his paw to be removed (they actually have to cut off his toe!) Anyone able to help? Have extra love to give to an awesome dog in need? I'm in Glendale, Az

the sites below are for two St. Bernard rescue, get a hold of them. good luck

i think its very noble of you to try to find this dog a home..some people would just dump it..good luck and dont let the asses get you down..yes you should be able to afford a dog when you get it but damn stuff happens and circumstances change..hasnt anyone ever lost a job or got hurt bad and had to be off work a long time..good lord..

First off, I can't believe you're posting this but I am going to try to be nice and keep this as neutral as possible. Have you thought of getting a second opinion from another vet? $1000 for a toe removal seems like alot of money. I had a dog who had surgery to remove cancer, chemo and many follow ups to a very prestigious clinic and that cost me around $3000, but he had alot of stuff done over many visits.

I'm sorry I have to say this. Whenever you bring a dog into your home, you are taking responsibility for that animal. Apparently you have children since you have stated that the dog is good with children. What kind of example are you showing by just tossing aside this poor animal who has done everything to please you. I realize that money is an issue, but most vets will work out payment plans for people in your situation. I'm sorry if I sound rude, but we had some hard times and we had to put off alot of things but when our beloved dog got sick we did everything we could to get him better and we were lucky and he did get better. This is the type of thing that credit cards are good for. Anybody can get a credit card so many consider this before getting rid of your dog.

Isnt there a vet around your area that will let you make a payment plan?? Its kind of sad that you have to let your dog go cause something is wrong with him! I would call every vet within driving distance (2 hours I would say) get different prices cause that seems kind of spendy to me and see if they make payment plans. My dog got hit by a car, I had to put him through surgery, 2 toes had to be removed 1 had to be reconstructed and he had to have about a 100 stitches and spent 5 days in the hospital and my bill was only $350. I would would shop around your vets.

wow, i can't respond to this the way i want without getting reported so I'll just say NO and leave it at that
