I have a vacuum hose dislocated or a leak.?

in my 1989 buick park avenue. and i'm not sure where to locate this leak at. i'm listening to the hiss, and i can't seem to find it. the car will start and if i keep pumping gas in it it will stay on, but if i don't it will die pretty quickly. so i'm sure it's a valve because the break pedal is very hard to push down. so does anyone know how to help me locate this problem??
