the bypass hose? Its on the left side of the engine, and it looks to be an elbow shape hose, how do I fix this? Any help would be great!
Right I Do want to replace the hose, just don't how how to go about doing it.
I want to replace, but I don't see any tensioners on either side, not sure if it actually is the bypass hose. It is on the passenger side of the engine, black, elbow shaped, and kind of hard to see. Is this the bypass hose? The guy at the shop wasn't too sure, and I'm not too sure either. I put antifreeze in on Wenesday, Friday the coolant tank was empty. Any other thoughts on this?

if its the plastic elbow they are prone to crack. you can tap a file inside the fitting [using it like an easyout] and unscrew it out.A local hadware store can size you up with a metal fitting.

dont fix REPLACE. for about 15 dollars at autozone. just use some big pliers to remove the tensioner on each side of the hose
