I have an older (6ish years, maybe?) Gateway tablet PC laptop that came with Windows 7 Tablet Edition on it. Works great, and I even upgraded the RAM (to 1GB, I believe; don't have it with me right now, though). I haven't really used it for a good year or so ("it works" is really all I've checked), but I have a student who might be interested in taking it off my hands if he can use it as a sort of e-reader/tablet by itself. I'd be interested in seeing if I can make it stand alone as such a device, too!
Is it possible to install an Android operating system on this computer? If so, how would I go about obtaining a copy of the OS to put on it? If not, why not?
