I have an older tv with dish network connected. I can not get my xbox360 to

connect. What am I doing wrong? I have tried to connect through a vcr as well. I believe I have tried every combination and still nothing.

check your cables first. the AV cable from 360 has a lil switch on the plastic box that cables come out of. you may be on RGB hd setting and not yellow video setting. just switch it and see if that works.
