I have had some scary dreams, what do they mean?

I have dreamt a lot that my dad is killed in front of my eyes, even my dog dies all of a sudden. What does this mean? The dreams seem so real... And they scare me, I'm just so relieved when I wake up..
My dad works in another city 3 days a week..
 
i actually kept dreaming that my dad died also i would wake up in tears... i looked it up on the computer i cant remember what it meant but personally i think it means you neeed to spend more time with him and relize what he really does do for you.at the time that i was having the dream i was thinking he didnt love me. but after that dream everything is fine. and the dog maybe you need to take better care of it and pay it more attention
