I have Vista Ultimate 64 bit- how do I tell if I have DirectX 10?

Do I have it by default since I have Vista or do I have to install it? Where does it say what version I have?

Also, my Windows Index Experience went from 5.9 to 1.0 after doing a restore because of something related to graphics. Any ideas?
