I heard about this book...?

I heard someone say something about this book called The Black Book or something and it's supposed to have a prayer in the very beginning of it and I heard that if you read the book without reading the prayer first then you will end up seeing demonic stuff or something. Does this book exist and if so, is what I heard about it true? I'm kinda scared here.
