I am an Independent and I am far from a Libertarian . It is true I am fiscally conservative but I suspect it is not in the way you mean. By far the largest welfare recipient and frauds in this country are business and the Republicans which represent them and not their constituents. I don't like spending $1 Trillion on an illegal war when there are people with no health coverage It is ironic that Republicans ONLY get fiscally conservative when out of office. When in office they steal from the poor to give to the rich, and until 2011 are still doing it. The last 3 Republican presidents ran massive deficits, all leaving recessions. I currently hear everyone criticizing Obama for the forecast that the deficit, with health-care and a public option, will be $10 Trillion over 10 years. That is with the 2 wars left him and the worst recession, which we are coming out of, since the great depression in the 1920's! I guess Republicans forget that Bush ran up $12 Trillion in 8 years and certainly did nothing for the poor or those who need health insurance!
