I messed up my knee a month ago but dont quite know what it is?

I love to run? I play basketball with my friends and we are always preparing for tournaments? I play point guard and part of my game is my speed so it has been hard for me to just sit back and relax and not train I feel like im getting fatter and worse by the sec. I know i can play on my knee and run on the treadmill and stuff but my knee just doesn't feel 100% like it used too when i am sitting on a chair and extend my right knee straight forward to the max then hold for a sec and right when i bring it back down there is a slight pop and when i am walking i just feel that knee is a little sore. I iced it in the begining when i first injuried it . Now i use aspercream and taking fish oil pills. I have let rested it for about a two weeks now and it has gotten better from before but not at 100%. I don't know what to do, who to go to? and what they would probebly do?
IF SOMEONE HAS HAD THIS PROBLEM AND IT WENT AWAY LET ME KNOW
