I need a bettery for a truck.?

I own a 1993 jeep cherokee (sorry for spelling) with a 2500 pound winch.
I need a battery that can power both the truck and the winch at the same time. The battery i have now does not to this and it is giving me problems.
What bettery will fix these problems.

goldwing is right. you also might want to look into a higher output alternator.

go get a battery called a deep cycle. it is designed mostly for rvs but it will supply what you need.

Optima makes great batteries. If there's a way to do a dual battery conversion and a high amp alternator, do it.
