I Need A Jeep Cherokee Mechanic?

I have a 2000jeep cherokee grand larado.
I can start it up and drive 5 miles or so and it dies. I wait 10 minutes and it restarts. after dieing it cranks great but wont start. Like its not fireing. It is getting gas to the injectors, but wont fire.PLESAE HELP!!!
 
If you don't have a check engine light lit you may have a failing fuel pump. Even if you crack a gas line and have gas it does not mean you have enough fuel pressure to start the car.
Try banging on the gas tank from under the car while at the same time another person tries to start the vehicle, it sometimes gets it working again. Don't trust this to keep working, drive straight to a repair shop and have the fuel pump replaced.
If you state won't fire, does that mean you don't have spark or just that the motor cranks but won't start? If no spark, open the distributor and look for arcing while having a friend crank the engine over.
