...to prove that zeitgeist is false? my friend at work ,kyrstal, told me about zeitgeust because i like to hear other peoples beliefs and she told me to watch the video on it so i watched the video and it and it was well written and has some very intrestning points, but i know by faith that God is real and jesus died and awoke on the third day, but she likes facts and actual proof, things outside of the bible. witch i can understand because it's just a fiction story to her. so please give me some advice to give to her, plus she said she kinda believes that we came from aliens...
 
Why are you trying to prove that anybody's beliefs are false. Are you not secure enough in your own beliefs to have the strength to not take notice of others?

Who has the truth? Everybody states they have.
We don't really know, do we/.

You cannot prove that anything is false, just like you cannot prove that what you belief is true.

All religions believe themselves to be right and everybody else wrong.
 
Zeitgeist would have you believe that every deity ever thought of was born on the 25th December, to a virgin and was king of the world. Also the 9/11 conspiracy stuff is utter bollocks.


However, Jesus was just lifted from other characters and religions. Christianity was altered in a major way by Paul when he dragged it over to the Romans and I could well believe that the Mithras mythology was incorporated then.


The fact that Zeitgeist is rubbish does not make Christianity true. It just means that Zeitgeist is rubbish.
 
Even I as an atheist can see that film is a load of crap. Anyone who thinks 9/11 was a conspiracy is an idiot.
 
Just let people believe what they want. Your friend believes that we came from aliens, so what? You believe that some dude follows you where ever you go.
 
The primary sources that were used in Zeitgeist like Acharaya x and the likes are a joke....don't worry the Pagan God references they use in comparison to Jesus are a joke as well.One eg.they use is the date 25th of December as Christs birth.NO WHERE in the Bible it says this.We just celebrate Xmas on this date..but that's another story.
The three wise men was another false example.No where in the Bible it mentions the number three...and the list goes on.You can look at refuting zeitgeist on you tube to get the real facts to debunk this fabricated atheistic campaign.They may have executed it convincingly to the easily coerced mind, and some people will lap up anything if it fits with their belief system.As for the Alien thing just ask her who made the Aliens...what more Aliens?and on and on it goes.
 
You can't even come close to proving your version of God is right, how would you expect to prove someone else's beliefs wrong?
 
sounds like you are two different people with two different beliefs... it's good that you're friends. Im not sure you need to give her any advice as you don't believe in any advice she would present to you about her beliefs

Zeitgeist exaggerates how alike Christianity and other religions are. You can point that out by actually learning about those other religions.


PS. 9/11 was a conspiracy, a group of people conspired to crash planes into a building. A conspiracy is a group of people planning out an illegal activity. The question about 9/11 is: who were all in on it.
