loved-one at home. No anecdotes? Hey, I've spent the two hours looking for research I don’t think exists... I'm looking for formal documentation of participant reactions to being informed of the death of a loved one while on an adventure course. Large tragedies work too. I have a privet interview from an outward-bound group who was not informed of 9/11 until exiting the back country but I need more to build on. All the articles I'm finding are about people who die on trips and how the family reacts, I'm looking for the opposite of that specifically how these events are handled by the trip leader and why. Can you give me a hand?
