I have a bluetooth speaker that I bought for my elderly grandmother. I will place it on the shelf, close to her ears, so she can hear the sound from her TV. I bought a bluetooth sender unit (the type that are used with i-pods etc), with the intention of connecting it to the TV. I had no trouble getting it to work, but the types I’ve tried require; charging first, then disconnecting from the charger before they can operate (on battery power). My Grandmother has poor control of her fingers, and finds it difficult mastering technical gadgetry. She doesn't like wearing the wireless headphones she has either. Can anyone recommend a product that I can leave connected to the mains, which will transmit sound from the telly to the bluetooth speaker? Or does anyone know of type of speaker that will receive the infra red signal from her wireless headphones transmitter?
