Hi I just got a new phone(LG Ally)And my battery life will die very easily and people say it is because when i go on an application or the web,i just press home and go to sleep and by the morning it will be half dead i dont know if it is because of the applications still running or what so i need help..do i need to download an application app killer or what.?

It's normal for the battery on a smart phone like the Ally to only last a day between charges, so you should be plugging it into the charger every night (but it's OK to leave it turned on while it's on the charger if you want to).

The other thing you can try is to condition the battery for maximum life, which is often a good idea with new phones. To do that, the first 3 or 4 times you charge the battery, don't do it until the battery is dead or really close to it.

App killers really aren't needed; when I used one a lot it really didn't help with battery life or performance and actually made the phone act weird sometimes.

Finally, there are some apps that can make your battery last longer, like Juice Defender. It's free, and works well for some people (but not everyone - so try it but get rid of it if it's not helping or causing trouble).
