I need help with my Nokia 5300?

I have a cell phone (Nokia 5300) that has a broken screen. I'm planning on getting a new cell phone but I will lose a lot of info on my phone is I transfer it. Luckily my service provider gives a service where it will let me see my phone info on the computer. To start an account you type in your phone # and they text you the password so it defeats the purpose. If someone with this type of phone could guide me on how to forward a message (a step by step process) like your were basically teaching a blind man it would really help thanks.
