few hints to help? The problem for my lab is: When sodium hydroxide, ammonia, and sodium carbonate react with Copper Sulfate is mass created or destroyed? I just need some help writing the introduction of my lab report, so any hints would be fine. Thanks so much.

Don't get creative with technical writing. Just state the facts clearly, in as few words as possible. Avoid "fluff". Teachers hate "fluff", and they can spot it a mile away.

In order to introduce your report, you must tell the reader what you are writing about, and what is the purpose of the lab.
