My best friends sister has been catching my eye since I was about 14 or 15. At age 16 we started to talk, had a thing for several months, couldnt really call it a relationship at the moment. We took a break throughout that winter and by spring, we realized we were both pretty miserable w/out eachother n started talkin again and realized we were much happier. We took it slow, I guess very slow considering it took me nearly 5 months to kiss her, and nearly 7 months to ask her out. We have been steady, and everything is wonderful up until now. Im proud to say that I'm 19, and have been able to keep her for that long:) I just graduated several months ago, and plan on taking a year off to work, save some money for college, and pursue a career. The problem I worry about is seperation, she's still on her last year of high school, and I plan on moving, not out of state, just a few hours away to get my generals done for 2 years at a community college then plan on focusing in on something. I just need some advice on how to talk about it with her. Id say Im a little stronger than she is, She doesn't want to make me feel like shes holding me back, i just dont know what to do. She has this mindset that Im going to go to college and meet other people and FOR SURE find someone else. I mean shes deadset tht this is going to happen and im struggling to convince her that its okay to have hope, and to trust another.
