my novel is about a female private investigator in Honolulu, Hawaii- she mostly deals with supernatural cases. I've been trying to think of creatures to have her go against but I know nothing of hawaiian mythology. I do NOT wanna use vampires or werewolves cause I think they've been used way too much. Does anyone know of some good ones? maybe some that aren't written about much or that might be interesting set here in Hawaii? Please help.
