Hi,

I have badly torn a ligament in my ankle and physically can't move it. My dance teacher (also my head of year) doesn't believe me about this. last week when I had dance I came in half way through the lesson, I had counselling, and told her about it, this is out convo

" hey miss, sorry i cant do dance today. I have a really bad ankle"
" well do you have a note?"
" nope"
She rolls her eyes and walks away

I can tell from her rolling her eyes she doesn't believe me. Where she is also my head of year i had to tell her about me going to hospital about it and get permission from her to leave school, that should give her enough evidence that I'm telling the truth.
Today's lesson I said to her how the hospital says I cant do any physical activity for a least 4 weeks, she then rolled her eyes and in a cocky way said " well that's 4 weeks of essays then". So in lesson today when I was doing my essay there was a girl next to me who couldn't do it also, she didn't have to do any writing and I know that the essay thing is something that's shes only doing with me.

Do I have a good enough case to make a complaint, I know in the above form it doesn't sound that bad but she does actually hate me and where the person next to me is a girl it can be looked at as discrimination.

Can you please tell me any legalities I could use in a complaint
I know that i'm still resting my leg and Im improve essay writing skill but the fact is, is that the girl doesnt need to and I know shes never made anyone else write an essay

It is your parents who should be making the complaint, not you. You should have asked the doctor at the hospital to give you a note and for some reason you omitted to do so, so you can't wonder if she's sceptical about your condition. Perhaps when she sees you moving about in pain she'll realise that you're telling the truth.

If your teacher had ordered you to do something degrading or humiliating, then perhaps you'd have cause for complaint. As it is, she has simply ordered you to do something which most people would consider more constructive than simply allowing you to waste your time doing nothing. I don't think you have a case.

Meanwhile, look on it positively. You're not being required to damage your leg further and you're getting practice in essay writing. What's more, as these are not class essays for your coursework, you can write extraordinary things in them without getting into trouble. Look up a few jokes or stories about dance and incorporate them into your essay. I've found a few quotations to start you off. http://thinkexist.com/quotations/dancing/
