I neeed help!!! Bit torrent screwed me over?

Bit torrent replaced the default program for opening exe files on my computer. I can no longer open any programs on my computer. How do I fix this? How do I reset the default for that?
How do I do anything? I need help please!
 
This is a lie. Exe files are executables and they run themselves. You should be ashamed of yourself spreading such lies.
 
Try uninstalling the program in question... Bit torrent... Reboot... see if everything works...

Or see if the exe files that are not currently working will work in safe mode...

Possibly a virus, trojan, worm, malware, scumware, ect... from a file you downloaded...

Many freeware programs out there to help with all the scumware floating around... I really think it is something you downloaded or the program just needs to be uninstalled and reinstalled... If you uninstall, reboot before reinstalling and see if it works... If you then reinstall and it goes bad again, well maybe the source program was bad to begin with... download from a legitamate source and try again...
 
What system are you running?

If it's Windows XP I might be able to help. Go to Start --> All Programs --> Accessories --> System Tools --> System Restore.

Follow the instructions there to set your computer back to the way it was on a certain date-- a date before Bit torrent messed it up. I think you will loose anything you downloaded or installed after that date, though, so don't go too far back!
