I own a 2006 Chrysler town and country . it has a gas exhaust leak. what is that?

exhaust leak meaning your engine to your tail pipe has a hole in it, it'll be fine but id have someone look at it so it doesn't get worse. and you won't meet emission standards if you get it inspected.

Probably ment to say a exhaust gas leak that's when exhaust gasses are leaking front the exhaust system won't hurt your car but could KILL you , exhaust gasses are extremely poisonous and could do you in , get it fixed soon like yesterday

Really depends on where the leak is.
If it is a little rust hole in the back muffler, it will get louder until you finally decide it should be done, and no big deal.
However, if there is something more like a crack in the front exhaust manifold, that could harm the engine and kill you with toxic carbon monoxide.
So it really, really, depends on where it is.
