...Jesus and his family? Are there any records of the other children born to Mary and Joseph, parents of Jesus Christ? Does the Bible speak of them? Does the Bible speak of their descendants?
1Jesus left there and went to his hometown, accompanied by his disciples. 2When the Sabbath came, he began to teach in the synagogue, and many who heard him were amazed.
"Where did this man get these things?" they asked. "What's this wisdom that has been given him, that he even does miracles! 3Isn't this the carpenter? Isn't this Mary's son and the brother of James, Joseph,[a] Judas and Simon? Aren't his sisters here with us?" And they took offense at him.
4Jesus said to them, "Only in his hometown, among his relatives and in his own house is a prophet without honor." 5He could not do any miracles there, except lay his hands on a few sick people and heal them. 6And he was amazed at their lack of faith.
Matthew 13: 53-56: "53*Now when Jesus had finished these illustrations he went across country from there. 54*And after coming into his home territory he began to teach them in their synagogue, so that they were astounded and said: “Where did this man get this wisdom and these powerful works? 55*Is this not the carpenter’s son? Is not his mother called Mary, and his brothers James and Joseph and Simon and Judas? 56*And his sisters, are they not all with us?"
He did...All the children of Joseph and Mary were Jesus' step-brothers and sisters.
Jesus did not have any direct descendants..because it would go against the reason he was SENT...
To be a sacrifice...as a perfect man...to remove death [ sin] from obedient ones...
