...I was slandered on Internet? I testified for a plaintiff against a huge corporation I had worked for. The suit was won, and a huge dollar amount was awarded. Shortly afterward, the plaintiff slandered me in a video taped interview. Part of the interview was published on the Internet by a well known journalist. I was not contacted to make any statement or to in anyway defend the statements that were made. After a lot of work on my part, the journalist has modified the "interview", taking my name out. All of this is easily proven. Can the parties be sued for damages incurred, such as injury to my health (I have a neurological disease which is worsened by stress and will not ever improve), as well as financial and professional damages to my reputation? Would any attorney take the case on a contingency basis? This would be very high profile. The law suit I testified in appears to now be part of an upcoming class action case against the corporation I worked for. Thank you
