I have a 15 year old son, and believe me, I know that I sound crazy, and I have spent many hours trying to find some way to talk myself out of it, but it just all seems to add up. One time about a 9 months ago I took him to the shooting range, and let him use my Colt .45 and .357. I was going to explain to him how to work it all out, but he said that he knew how and could do it. I thought that he would just mess up and let me show him, but he loaded the gun faster than I ever have, which I have been using for almost 20 years, and when he shot, all of his bullets hit the bullseye. I asked him where he learned to shoot, and he just told me it came natural. About three months ago he got into a fight at school and severely hurt the kid. The principal told me that he had come upon them and been stopped in his tracks for a few seconds by the style of fighting that my son had used. The principal said that he saw my son flip the other child over his back effortlessly. I thought maybe it was something he saw on a movie and had been successful in attempting it, but it did make us keep our eyes open. And we didn't really see anything up until last week when my wife was cleaning his room and she found a paper with the words M. STATEMENT written on it, followed by a bunch of numbers. It was a small slip of paper. And finally his behavior has been withdrawn and he barely ever talks to us anymore. He has all this money we have no idea where he got from, and we just don't know? We asked why he was acted very different then the kid we know him as. He got defensive, and told us that he didn't think that he was acting very wierd and wishes we wouldn't judge him. He sold the act to my wife but not me. Once again let me say I know that I sound completely crazy, but its just something that seems to make sense. And if you need any more details, please ask, I need to know. Should we snoop? I feel like I would be invading his privacy? I don't want to cut off all ties with him by pressuring him and scaring him. Help, I know that this isn't a normal problem for a parent, but this is very real.
