I want to be a actor, where to bnegin?

I kinda wanted to be a actor. I mean I think its a fun job. But Im just 17 and I dont know where to start or how do the big actors get so famous:? Just being curious?

You should try out for a play or do a drama class...that will get you started. Then If u like it and want to continue with it then go to a drama or acting college like specifically for it or somewhere that has a good program. Try out for any local or school productions or get an agent if ur really serious about it

Well, so big actors get famous by just out of pure luck. If you want to try to be famous go out there and let people know who you are. I'm from a small town in Wyoming and I almost got signed to an agency in Utah. Wherever you are it's probably much easier to get your name out there, for my agency i had to get acting classes and finish all the courses before i got signed and got sent out for auditions, and if that's what you really want then go out and find somewhere that will allow you to do that. but most importantly don't give up.
