I want to get OS Mountain Lion, but I never got OS Lion, what do I do?

I have a MacBook Pro and when I bought it it came with Snow Leopard. Lion came out a few months later but I never got it. Can I skip Lion and buy Mountain Lion or do I need to find Lion too? Where can I get it, since it is no longer on the App Store?
