I want to purchase a iPod 80 gb. My question is how do you download DVD

movies that I have? Can I download them while playing, or what? Also I plan a trip to another country where PAL is used. I want to copy movies in their language and bring them home to a friend, and put the movies on the iPod to DVD?
Come on guys, there's someone out there that knows how!
Please help me.
OK I know about purchasing the movies on line, but I've purchased it already! Why pay twice for something and no backup.

Dvd's i dont believe can downloaded to your ipod. Try it the way you download a cd. But the only way to put a movie on your ipod is if you have a DVD burner, and if you do then just put it in and select import on the file menu.
