[QUOTE="davidm, post: 1503973, member: 212072"] I have a buyer for my car and they want it asap, but my problem is that i have finance owing on it i am currently waiting for a personal loan to be approved to payout the hired purchase finance. I have spoken with my current bank that i have my finance with and they advised me that i am allowed to sell my car as long as i continue making the current payments until my personal loan is approved and that the buyer can still register and transfer the car into their name as normal. I will write a letter stating that i will be making all payments owing on my car and that they acknowledge that and we both must sign it. Has anyone done this before? i have an excellent record with the bank that i have my current finance owing and they told me that as long as i keep making the regular payments that is doesnt matter if i sell my car because all they care about is that the debit is being paid on time.it will only be until i get a personal loan approved and if the buyer agrees and my bank agrees then i dont see why i cant just sell them my car and just keep making my payments as regular..
