so I asked my teacher a question and she responded lightheartedly. it sounded like she was joking with me. so I responded back with a witty remark and I think she took it seriously since she sounded angry and told not to waste her time with such stupidities. she says she might tell my counselor to change me into a different course. I'm usually a good student and hearing this shocked me. she usually jokes around in class but can get really upset sometimes. I'm embarrassed to see her again in school.
Should I respond back or not and if I do, what do I say so she won't get offended again?
