display a tank.? its from aqueon, and its a 5 galllon goldfish desktop aquarium kit. he told me that it would be my best choice and would be a happy home for a goldfish. i brought it home, put the rocks/plants/shipwreck in it with the water, put in the conditioner, and turned on the filter. the next day i went back and got a calico fantail goldfish (one that is displayed on the back of the box), and put it in its new happy home... here i am, after a month of him in his happy home (i did 25% water changes twice a week) with a goldfish gasping for air at the top and hiding at the bottom not eating. i looked this up to find that my fish has been poisioned with ammonia, and that its tank should be no smalller than 10 gallons... why do they have an Aqueon minibow 5 goldfish aquarium kit that is the perfect place for my goldfish to play (as stated on the box), when it is going to kill my poor godfish!? and the guy at the petstore told me he would be happy... is there anything more i can do with this tank? i cant take it back now... but im not very interested in a betta fish which i know would be a good choice for this tank. i just wanted a happy aquarium... help?
