...bound so traveling is out.? I like to do arts and crafts. I crochet and bead and would now like to go back to doing my triviets (go to s&s.com for a look at what they are). In order to make them, I need to buy the supplies but I don't know if they would sell or if there is a glut out there already. I could easily spend over $800 but if they don't sell in six months, that was a waste of money.
Each of these would be an individual thing designed by me or the customer could ask for something custom made. They only take a few minutes to put together and maybe two hours for the finished product.
What would be the first step and how would I go about selling them? I don't have any relatives or friends (I live in a Chinese speaking community and I don't speak Chinese and I don't think the landlord would like it if they found out I was selling them from my apartment). I am on SSDI (wheelchair bound/single parent of handicapped adult) and can't afford to waste money but in this economy, like almost everyone else out there, I need extra money.
Is there anyone I can contact to find out if I need a license or something so that it will not be illegal or so that I won't get arrested for tax evasion -- Uncle always wants his, you know.
I figure if I sell it on the net, I might get more customers. BTW, I am wheelchair bound so carrying these from place to place would be a hassle. They can get rather heavy when you carry some of the bigger pieces.
Thank you,
