First a quick question, I could find this out but if you know off the top of ur head I would like to know if these are compatable, I know my e8400 is 775pin, but not sure about the i7.
anyways Im looking for some advice, built my computer like 6months ago, stuck the core 2 duo in there, but now that i7 came out, and i looked at the benchmarks, I really want to try this processor out, It seems to blow everything out of the water!
If u can build computers, should it ez to upgrade a processor? and in ur expert opinons, is now the best time to change over? My parents need a new computer, so i was thinking about giving them a hand-me-down of my old processor.
