IBM Thinkpad not starting up. Please help 10points?

My IBM Thinkpad will start up just past the Microsoft Windows Welcome page, then then asks user to start laptop with
Safe Mode
Last Configuration
Start Windows Normally

Then when clicking Start Windows Normally a blue screen comes up informing of a fault, then disappears quickly.

Then im stuck,
please help
