I clicked on unhide, etc. and I still cannot see these in Documents & Settings/Local Settings. It used to show (in Explorer 6) Temp, History, Temporary Internet Files. Now only temp shows and some other folders. How can I view them again to delete my history and temp int. files?

Also, if I use the Tools/Internet Options and click delete cookies, clear history, etc. will those files be removed from where I mentioned above?

My PC used to show temp internet and history. I downloaded IE 7 and now it wont show.

Show where exactly? On the side of the page?

You can activate that, I believe in views.

If you delete cookies, whatever pages you have gone to in the past will take longer to load, because it doesn't have the previously stored data (the cookies) in there,.

Temp folder and temp files can be deleted with no problems. Clearing history wont be a problem either (unless you are looking to go back to some specific page that you forgot the address to, sometime in the future).

Seriously though, IE is really really slow. I mean like a snail.

Switch over to Firefox/Mozilla.

I was resistant at first myself to make the change, but ever since then, cruising the Internet has been a dream, compared to the "pulling teeth" feeling I got from IE.

Hope this helps.

Good luck.
