A virus got into my computer so using Spyware Doctor and Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to get rid of the virus. (The virus said that Windows Firewall detected a problem in my computer and I needed to download an antivirus software to fix it). Then, I ran my Windows XP Pro in safe mode and I ran Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and ran into no issues. Now Internet Explorer 7 connects to the Internet, but none of my other applications do! Whem I upgraded ie, internet didn't work. The connection is fine. My ftp program isn't working either. Please help!
