...nav for free? I hear the keys feels very plasticy but I like the 5 meg camera with xenon flash. Are there any better alternatives to this?

I'm pretty sure you can but unless you have a good internet add on/bolt on then it'll work out quite expensive. As far as I know the sat nav will need the internet to keep the position updated. O2 do good bolt ons, as do Orange and T-Mobile. Which would enable you to use that handset
