Why are there still Jews?
And come to think of it, if man evolved from monkeys, then why are there still monkeys?

Religion goes extinct when it's followers do, or they stop following it.

Christianity didn't evolve from Judaism. Judaism's law was completed when Jesus died on the cross. Now we do no need spiritual law. So Christianity was born when Christ died. Of course you will see similarities because they served the same God. The difference between Jews and Christians is that Jews don't believe that Jesus was the son of God.

Christians believe the Old Testament as well as the New. Jews just go with the Old Testament. Christians say Jesus is the Messiah. Jews are still looking for the Messiah.

I bet you one of those people that believe humans evolved from monkeys. I hope your question was just facetious. Humans have a common ancestor with monkeys..in case you didn't know

Because not all jewish people at the time believed in jesus and kept believing what their people have believed for centuries.

Jewish people do not recognise Jesus

After Jesus' life, death and resurrection not all Jews believed that Jesus was the Messiah. Those who believed in Jesus and saw Him after His resurrection were His first disciples. They included the 11 Apostles who Jesus chose to be His leaders.
