If I absolutely CANNOT stand fish skin, is it still possible for me to enjoy sushi?

I love fish, salmon and tuna being my favorites. However, I completely remove the skin as I just cannot stand it.

Is sushi made of skin - on fish ? How do I let the restaurant know that I would like sushi without fish skin ? Is it possible in the first place ? I am totally new to sushi, and would like to give it a try.

Thank you for your help.

God bless.

Sushi is a small appetizer of some japanese concoction sitting in or on a bed of rice and there is a lot of sush that doesn't come with sashimi (raw fish). If you like sashimi there is plenty of it without the skin. Just order something sort of plain like a tuna roll (there's no skin on the tuna) or an inari (rice ball in an egg wrapper). You are not going to have trouble finding good sushi without fish skin!
