If I already upgraded to 2.2 firmware for android?

Can I restore to factory settings. What will happen. Will it restore to 2.1 firmware? Will it restore to 2.2 firmware.
 
If you are going to restore your phone to factory settings using the menu on the phone itself, then it will restore to factory 2.2 software. It should be the same story if you plug it into your computer and hit the button, provided it's a manufacturer-release update and not a flashed ROM. Though if it is a 3rd party ROM, the manufacturer software won't be able to communicate with it properly.
