If i buy a headphone splitter will i be able to reverse it?

It should work, because part of headphones is actually a mic. Give this a try, hook up your headphones to your mic input on your computer and talk with a recording program. It will be terrible quality, but it will record. So this means that there is no DEFINITE input/output for the microphone port, therefore theoretically it should work.
 
I have a mic for a video camera but it only has 1 input for mics, I was wondering if i bought a headphone splitter or something. Could i reverse it So that I can use 2 mics? and they will both go into the audio input?
