If I change the radio in my BMW 735IL will i need an external antenna?

I need to change the radio in my car, but there is no external antenna. Will I need to have some type of antenna for my new radio to work??
 
no you should not cause the wireing harnest should have that wire for the new one
 
The answer is no. To tell you the truth most bmw radios are way better sounding than after market.
