[QUOTE="Shello, post: 2465248, member: 678804"] I MAY have bought a stolen dog. Three men came over to look at my new litter of puppies and claimed that my Sire was stolen from him. I am not saying it could not be possible but I didn't know if they will be able to take the dog back or not. I have had the dog for six months and I paid for him from someone who said they could not take care of him anymore. Then when we posted my litter and pictures of the parents on ebay classifieds, some people claimed they wanted to see our puppies and then said it was his dog and had been stolen 5 months earlier. I have had the dog longer than that, but he may have been mistaken, who knows? He then said that he cropped the dogs ears himself. To me, that is MAJOR animal cruelty and not only do I love the dog but I do not want to give him up. Its not like it was a kid's dog or something, these men said it was their dog and belonged to all three of them since it costed $3000. I am not sure what to do but I know that they are taking me to court over it and I intend on fighting. I would even pay the $3000 back over time if the judge ruled but CAN THEY TAKE MY DOG!?!?
