in now? i was just wondering if i had fta warrents in one county, i moved to another. The county in which i got the warrents in finds out where i am will they fax those to the right county? or how does that work i just got arrested for some ftas from that county when i was stopped during a road check so yea i did go to jail. But im just wondering would that have caused the county that im in now to look for me for the other county?

Yes, they will -- if you are arrested anywhere, they will do a search for other wants/warrents and find the others.

Not sure how it works there, but here, we check for wants and warrants. We will book you into our county jail on any active warrant that is not a cite and release. If the warrant is from out of county or out of state, that jurisdiction has five days to work on extraditing you to there area. If they choose to do nothing, our county jail will release you at the end of the five days. The warrant however is still active. It is up to the person to go back to the jurisdiction and self surrender on those active warrants. I have booked someone into county jail, twice on the same warrant. He needs to get it dealt with.

Yes they will I would bounce or get that straightened out warrents dont go away for like 10 years if that

Warrants are entered in a national data base and any cop in the country with a computer will learn of them. In addition, many departments will notify the local cops of a warrant if they believe you can be found there. In most states, the cops from the county where the warrant issued can come to your county and execute the warrant themselves, althought the usually notify the local cops so as to avoid misunderstandings.
